At Museum Ludwig in Köln (Germany), Korean artist Haegue Yang presents the exhibition « ETA » (which stands for « estimated time of arrival ») which showcases the versatility of her entire oeuvre. This is the artist’s first-ever retrospective exhibition with over 120 works ranging from action-based objects from the 1990s to lacquer paintings, photographs, works on paper, video essays, anthropomorphic sculptures, performative pieces, and large-scale installations. The exhibition title points to an artistic career in transit and the constant itineracy of an artist who maintains studios in Seoul and Berlin and has exhibited internationally since 1994. The Museum Ludwig has rewarded Haegue Yang with the 2018 Wolfgang Hahn Prize.

Au Museum Ludwig de Cologne (Allemagne), l’artiste coréenne Haegue Yang présente l’exposition « ETA » (pour « estimated time of arrival » [« heure d’arrivée estimée »]) qui met en avant la polyvalence de toute son œuvre. Il s’agit de la première exposition rétrospective de l’artiste avec plus de 120 œuvres allant des objets d’action des années 1990 aux laques, photographies, œuvres sur papier, essais vidéo, sculptures anthropomorphiques, pièces performatives et installations à grande échelle. Le titre de l’exposition souligne une carrière artistique en transit et l’itinérance constante de l’artiste qui travaille entre Séoul et Berlin et qui expose internationalement depuis 1994. Le Museum Ludwig a récompensé Haegue Yang du Prix Wolfgang Hahn 2018.
