INTERVIEW – LEONARD SURYAJAYA

Le travail photographique de Leonard Suryajaya est lié à l’intimité. Au cours des six dernières années, le photographe basé à Chicago a produit un corpus d’œuvres ayant pour objectif de préserver l’héritage de ses amis, de sa famille et de sa communauté. Ses mises en scènes rayonnent par leur esthétique et leur sensibilité théâtrale – mélangeant humour, concepts théâtraux et absurdes avec des couleurs vives, des objets et des motifs. Pour ACA project, le photographe échange avec Lara Baclig au sujet de la construction de nouveaux mythes.
