La création contemporaine indienne est mise à l’honneur cet été chez Artcurial. Jusqu’au 28 août, la Librairie de la maison accueille l’exposition « Indian dreaming, autres contemporains, l’invention d’une tradition » réunissant des œuvres de 9 artistes indiens. Curatée par le spécialiste de l’art contemporain vernaculaire indien Hervé Perdriolle, l’exposition s’intéresse plus particulièrement à l’art des tribus Warli et Gond.
Indian contemporary art is being honored this summer at Artcurial. Until August 28th, the bookstore of the house hosts the exhibition « Indian dreaming, contemporary artists, the invention of a tradition » consisting of artworks of 9 Indian artists. Curated by the specialist in vernacular Indian contemporary art Hervé Perdriolle, the exhibition focuses on the art of Warli and Gond tribes.
