Feng Li, « Good Night », 2022
Feng Li (冯立, 1971-) est un photographe chinois originaire de Chengdu. Reconnu pour ses travaux sur la photographie de rue et de mode, il est également photographe officiel pour la région du Sichuan.
“Good Night”, publié en 2022 par les éditions Jiazazhi, fait suite à un premier ouvrage publié en 2017, “White Night”. Cherchant à représenter une autre facette de la réalité, il assemble ici des photographies en noir et blanc qui avaient alors été mises de côté lors de la réalisation du premier ouvrage. Il définit ces photos comme monochromatiques, au lieu de la définition traditionnelle du noir et blanc, car à ses yeux le noir est plus qu’un noir. Pour lui, ce livre est un adieu au bon vieux temps. « Ainsi va le monde, et c’est un état d’incertitude » dit-il. Depuis ce moment, il a toujours conservé un regard instinctif et une manière très directe de photographier.
Qu’est-ce que L’INAPERÇU ?
Situé au coeur du Marais, haut lieu de l’art contemporain, entre le Centre Pompidou et le quartier des Arts-et-Métiers, L’INAPERÇU est un espace dédié à la photographie accueillant une librairie « curatée » d’un genre nouveau adossée à un café-restaurant empreint de modernité. Portée par la passion du partage, la librairie propose une sélection exigeante de livres de photographie et de livres d’artiste établie par des personnalités du monde de l’art et de l’édition, offrant aux visiteurs une sélection d’ouvrages d’exception. S’adressant aux amateurs de beaux livres comme aux curieux, ce lieu de vie propose une programmation riche d’évènements et de rencontres inédites.

Feng Li, « Good Night », 2022
Feng Li (冯立, 1971-) is a Chinese photographer from Chengdu. Known for his work on street and fashion photography, he is also the official photographer for the Sichuan region.
« Good Night », published in 2022 by Jiazazhi Publishing, follows a first book published in 2017, « White Night ». Here, seeking to present another side of reality, he assembles black-and-white photographs that had been set aside at the time of the first volume. He defines these photos as monochromatic, instead of the traditional definition of black and white, as in his eyes black is more than just black. For him, this book is a farewell to the good old days. « This is the way the world is, and it’s a state of uncertainty » he says. Since then, he has always kept an instinctive view and a very direct way of photographing.
