Du 2 au 17 février, venez vous immerger dans la richesse et la diversité du cinéma d’auteur chinois contemporain avec le Festival Allers-Retours. Pour cette année 2024, à Paris comme à Lyon, le Festival Allers-Retours vous promet une programmation variée avec 11 longs-métrages et 4 courts-métrages, mais aussi un film classique, deux séances enfant animation, et un dialogue avec le réalisateur Wang Bing.La sélection de la 6ème édition du Festival Allers-Retours continue de donner la parole aux auteurs chinois de tous horizons, d’origines et de générations différentes, tous travaillés par la portée esthétique que peut offrir le cinéma.
Dialogue avec l’artiste et cinéaste Wang Bing
Cette année, le Festival Allers-Retours vous donne rendez-vous le dimanche 4 février 2024 à 14h au Musée Guimet pour un échange exceptionnel avec WANG Bing.
Depuis qu’il a actionné sa caméra DV en 1999 pour filmer la fin d’un complexe industriel dans le nord-est de la Chine dans À l’ouest des rails, WANG Bing n’a cessé de contribuer à faire évoluer le cinéma documentaire, celui qui saisit au plus près la réalité des personnes aux marges de la société.
L’événement débutera avec la projection d’un film surprise du réalisateur, suivi à 15h d’un échange avec l’auteur dans lequel il reviendra sur son expérience créative et sa méthodologie. La rencontre sera animée par WANG Muyan, critique de cinéma.
From February 2 to 17, come and immerse yourself in the richness and diversity of contemporary Chinese auteur cinema with the Allers-Retours Festival. For this year 2024, in Paris as in Lyon, the Allers-Retours Festival promises you a varied program with 11 feature films and 4 short films, but also a classic film, two children’s animation sessions, and a dialogue with director Wang Bing. The selection of the 6th edition of the Allers-Retours Festival continues to give voice to Chinese authors from all walks of life, of different origins and generations, all worked by the aesthetic scope that cinema can offer.
Meeting and discussion with Wang Bing
This year, the Allers-Retours Festival invites you to meet on Sunday February 4, 2024 at 2pm at the Guimet Museum for an exceptional discussion with WANG Bing.
Since he operated his DV camera in 1999 to film the end of an industrial complex in northeast China in West of the Rails, WANG Bing has continued to contribute to the evolution of documentary cinema, the one that most closely captures the reality of people on the margins of society.
The event will begin with the screening of a surprise film by the director, followed by a discussion with the artist at 3pm in which he will discuss his creative experience and his methodology. The meeting will be moderated by WANG Muyan, film critic.
