For its 4th edition, the Parisian art fair dedicated to contemporary art from Asia, ASIA NOW will turn its attention to the rising artists and emerging galleries of the Japanese art scene. A cutting-edge special projects program, curated by Emmanuelle de Montgazon, associate curator of “A Japanese Season” at the Centre Pompidou-Metz in 2017-2018, will feature in situ installations, performances, videos, and exhibitions by young talents, complemented by a series of round-table discussions on Japanese art. The scenography of the exhibition space dedicated to the Japanese Platform will be conceived by Sou Fujimoto Architects. This space will welcome ten Japanese galleries, representing young, up-and-coming Japanese artists, among them : COHJU Contemporary Art (Kyoto), The Container (Tokyo), MORI YU GALLERY (Kyoto, Tokyo), S.O.C. Satoko Oe Contemporary (Tokyo), Talion Gallery (Tokyo), and Tokyoïte (Paris, Tokyo).

Pour sa quatrième édition, la foire parisienne dédiée à la création contemporaine venue d’Asie, ASIA NOW met en exergue le dynamisme et la richesse de la jeune scène émergente japonaise. À travers un riche programme de Projets Spéciaux, curaté par Emmanuelle de Montgazon, commissaire associée de « Une Saison Japonaise » au Centre Pompidou-Metz (2017-2018), la foire mettra en lumière les talents montants et les galeries émergentes. La scénographie de l’espace d’expositions de la plateforme japonaise sera conçue par le studio d’architecture Sou Fujimoto. Cet espace accueillera dix galeries japonaises, dont COHJU Contemporary Art (Kyoto), The Container (Tokyo), MORI YU GALLERY (Kyoto, Tokyo), S.O.C. Satoko Oe Contemporary (Tokyo), Talion Gallery (Tokyo), and Tokyoïte (Paris, Tokyo).
